Mini-Z Compact MIDI guitar controller
The Mini-Z and Mini-ZX are each only 24" long and offer a comfortable
playing position for two-handed tapping, whether sitting or standing.
Rather than just an ordinary tapping instrument, this might be considered
the first truly optimized keyboard for guitarists. 
By putting the fingerboard directly in front of the player's body, both hands have perfect access to the neck without stretching or reaching at an awkward angle. It's most apparent when sitting back in an easy chair, a normally difficult position for guitar-playing, especially two-hand tapping. Even a Stick is a little cumbersome in this position and usually requires a belt-hook.
This Mini-Z is for tapping only. The 24-fret fingerboard is installed without companion Triggers or Drum/Expression Pads.
Mini-ZX Compact MIDI guitar controller
The Mini-ZX adds a Trigger/Drum panel to the Mini-Z controller. The Triggers are of the Key-Trigger variety and provide a single long strip which may be tapped to trigger a "string" on the fingerboard and held to sustain notes or apply MIDI controller EFX. The 6 Expression Pads may be used for Drums, samples, MIDI EFX, sequencer controls and combinations of all of theses things.Mini-ZS
This MiniZ has a bank of (6) String Triggers mounted adjacent to the high end of the fingerboard. Mini-ZXS. A Mini-ZXS is also available which carries both a bank of six actual String Triggers and (12) Expression Pads. This is a powerful set of features in a compact package.MegaMiniZX
(Available only as a custom order and schedule permitting. These are not in the catalog)The MegaMiniZX has up to 42 individual sensors. Expression Pads are mounted on the top and even the sides of the body. Extra pads may be mounted under the thumbs. Position sensing Ribbons may be mounted in various configurations. Even a Theremin-type sensor may be installed in the MegaMiniZ. The neck carries a pressure-sensing strip and a position-sensing ribbon controller, and up to 4 joysticks may be installed.

Z-Lute
(Available by custom order only and schedule permitting)The Z-Lute shown here offers 6 real Strings for your right-hand technique and 12 extra thumb-keys installed for extra bass-notes required when performing traditional Lute pieces that call for low bass notes in all 12 keys. The Z7-S sports most of the hardware features and all of the software features that complement the high-end Ztar controllers but at a more affordable price. Several hardware options are also available such as a specially designed Joystick assembly which can serve as a leg rest, and a newly-designed TriggerCap Assembly that adds six programmable Expression Pads.
Z7S OPTIONS: because of the limited space available in the Z7S cavity, some configurations of options may not be possible to install. Add these items to the pricelist.
