The Mini-Z is only 24” long and offers a comfortable playing position for two-handed tapping, whether sitting or standing. Rather than just an ordinary tapping instrument, this might be considered the first truly optimized keyboard for guitarists.
By putting the fingerboard directly in front of the player’s body, both hands have perfect access to the neck without stretching or reaching at an awkward angle. It’s most apparent when sitting back in an easy chair, a normally difficult position for guitar-playing, especially two-hand tapping. Even a Stick is a little cumbersome in this position and usually requires a belt-hook. This Mini-Z is for tapping only. The 24-fret fingerboard is installed without companion Triggers or Drum/Expression Pads.
