The Z7S Pro is a high performance Guitar MIDI Controller. Control MIDI synthesizers and software synths without a MIDI guitar pickup. Pluck and strum the touch-sensitive String Triggers like a guitar or tap the touch-sensitive fingerboard like a keyboard. Completely customize the setup for the fingerboard with multiple zones for different instrument patches. Layer your sounds in unlimited ways. Being truly polyphonic, the Z7S Pro can play multiple notes per-string simultaneously which means you can play piano-style cluster voicings that can not be played on a guitar.

The cutting edge touch-sensing keyed-fingerboard supports 32 separate programmable zones, each with its own channel, voice, transposition, tuning, polyphony, and sensitivity settings. The “strings” have preset as well as user-programmable tunings. Each key on the entire fingerboard may even be tuned independently as well if you want say, a diatonic tuning or are creating Drum Maps ( a really fun thing to do… Percussion on the fingerboard is insane. Having 100 drums at your fingertips is worth trying out!)

The Z7S Pro is equipped with a 4-way programmable joystick, ModWheel knob, and a programmable Ribbon controller. Also programmable volume pot, and Sustain and Volume pedal ports.

The embedded arpeggiator as well as the programmable one-finger chording system may be assigned to separate fingerboard zones, layers and/or frets . This fingerboard system is highly suited to DJ control, loop and clip playback, direct control of Ableton Live or any DAW, and multi-media control.
